Turns out I am one of those people who are only good at doing things when no one is watching them, as proven in a few MWR videos so far, but especially this one. I think I simply feel the pressure of the camera and end up not doing so well because of whatever block is happening in my mind.
Water colour painting is a lovely and calming hobby to take up, one that I picked up in 2024 on a sailboat when I was feeling isolated. Painting had soothed my mind and comforted my soul in my time of loneliness and sadness. I definitely recommend it as a therapeutic hobby.
This was in fact my second bookmark painted, and I felt it was too small and constricted for me to paint, so I think I will stick to slightly bigger ones.
If you do paint bookmarks, don’t forget to laminate them before adding a string of beads or a normal brown string!

Carrot cake muffins are officially one of my new favourite things to bake! Surprisingly, this baking session went a lot smoother than some of my previous adventures in the kitchen. I actually followed the recipe quite closely this time, although of course I still managed to add a few of my own little twists along the way.

Planting Seeds With Me Part 3 🌱 | Mom Knows Best 😂

Gardening is definitely a lot more work than I originally thought! This time I am planting seeds in my new garden, potting my little avocado plants that have been growing in glasses of water and attempting to give the grass some love with compost. Thankfully, my mom is back and happens to be a gardening genius, so instead of guessing my way through everything, I actually get to learn how to do it properly. 🌱😂
